Senior Finishing Foreman

A leading construction company is seeking an experienced Senior Finishing Foreman to join their team on high-end residential and commercial building projects in the Durbanville area of Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all finishing trades on site to ensure quality workmanship and programme deadlines are achieved
• Manage subcontractors, labour teams, and daily site activities
• Ensure all finishes are completed to specification and client standards
• Coordinate snag lists, inspections, and handovers
• Maintain health & safety compliance on site
• Monitor materials, quality control, and productivity
• Work closely with Site Managers, Quantity Surveyors, and project teams

Minimum Requirements

• Proven experience as a Finishing Foreman on residential and commercial construction projects
• Strong knowledge of finishing trades including plastering, painting, tiling, ceilings, joinery, flooring, and final fit-offs
• Ability to read drawings and manage programmes effectively
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality finishes
• Valid driver’s licence
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Preferred Experience
• Experience on luxury residential developments and commercial projects
• Trade qualification or construction-related certification advantageous
