Job Title: General IT Technician

Objective:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated General IT Technician to join our team and provide technical support for all IT-related issues to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT systems and infrastructure, as well as excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to clients on a variety of IT issues, including hardware and software troubleshooting, networking problems, system upgrades, CCTV, VOIP and access control
- Install, configure, and maintain IT systems, including computers, printers, servers, CCTV systems, Access Control, VOIP and other hardware devices
- Monitor and maintain network security, including firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems
- Help develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure the security and efficiency of clients IT infrastructure
- Assist in the planning and execution of IT projects, including system upgrades, installations, and migrations
- Keep abreast of the latest technology trends and best practices in the IT industry to ensure clients systems are up to date.
Required Skills
- Cctv: 1 to 2 years
- 2Nd Line It Support: 1 to 2 years
- MS365 Cloud Computing: 1 to 2 years
Candidate Requirements
- Related certifications or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience working in a technical support role, preferably in an SMME IT environment
- Strong knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networking
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, and Microsoft technical certifications, especially MS365 and security related.
