ASARA Wine Estate & Hotel (Pty) Ltd. based in Stellenbosch, Western Cape is looking for a dynamic, competent and self-motivated team player with excellent communication, time-management, planning and organisational skills. The ideal candidate has the ability to multitask and work accurately under pressure. The position requires excellent logistical and communication skills (Afrikaans & English) to liaise with suppliers, shipping agents and overseas clients.

The incumbent will be responsible for: *Processing received orders *Pastel invoicing *Creation of bills of materials *Receiving dry goods on Pastel *Manufacturing labelled stock on Pastel *Conducting monthly stock takes *Submitting wine documentation to Sawis (BG9 & BG11) *Maintaining sensory validation dates for all wines *Preparing export documentation for all exports *Liaising with freight forwarders *Sending monthly customer statements *Following up on outstanding and overdue debtors *Monthly Sawis submissions *Monthly SARS excise submissions.

Essential qualifications, skills and experience:
• Matric required, a relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous;
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role relating to an exports, logistics or sales and procurement environment;
• Knowledge of SAWIS and compliance regulations;
• Excellent computer literacy (Ezy Wine, MS Office, specifically Microsoft Excel);
• Experience in workflow designs or creation of a logistics system or process would be advantageous;
• Own reliable transport.
