Well Known Agriculture Company Seeks Young Dynamic Payroll Saleries Clerk to join there Team in Pretoria
Payroll Clerk / Salary Clerk
- Administration and reconciliation of the payroll for various companies on Sage 300;
- Accurate calculation of overtime, leave payouts, and all salary reconciliations/payments;
- Daily telephone work confirmation;
- Annual Compensation Commissioner submissions and administration;
- Processing of weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly Mibco salaries and provident fund administration on the Mibco Portal;
- Continuous leave approvals on ESS (Sage 300);
- Processing of leave and maternity leave;
- Continuous ESS claims approvals (travel claims, cellphone claims, toll receipts, and Nedfleet claims);
- Distribution of UI19 and Payroll schedules for all terminations, deaths, and parental leave;
- Monthly UIF declaration and submission;
- Follow-up and administration of supporting documentation for all hirings and terminations (including funeral claims and spouse insurance claims);
- Printing of IRP5 forms and monthly payslips;
- Monthly payroll processing and forwarding of monthly journals;
- Management and maintenance of employee records;
- Handling of salary-related inquiries and support to employees;
- Processing of Sanlam and Grain provident fund and monthly administration on the Sanlam Portal;
- Monthly administration and processing of long service & retirement gifts; and
- Handling of electronic applications for tax numbers.
Candidate Requirements
Skills, Qualifications and General Requirements:
- Minimum Grade 12 qualification
- Relevant qualification in payroll administration will be advantageous
- Minimum 3-5 years Sage 300 (monthly, weekly, and biweekly) experience
- Mibco experience will be advantageous
- Experience in ESS leave approval will be advantageous
- Accuracy and detail-oriented
- Reporting and reconciliations
- Experience in submitting Compensation Commissioner reports will be advantageous
- Knowledge of basic legislation (BCEA)
- Computer literate and knowledge of the MS Office suite
- Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English (oral and written communication)
- Experience in provident fund administration will be advantageous
- Able to function under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills as well as good interpersonal relations.
