ASSISTANT: DIESEL BAY UNDERGROUND  (GRADING A)

 Qualifying Criteria:

• Grade 10, 11, 12 or equivalent ABET Level
• A combination of both academic background and work experience will be considered
• Ability to adapt to change in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Must be deadline-driven with the ability to work under pressure
• Must be able to work underground
• Applicant must possess written and verbal communication skills
  
• Applicants must be physically fit and competent
• Must have basic numeracy and calculation skills
• Must be able to work at heights
• South African Citizenship
• Clear Criminal Record

Responsibilities:

• Record & capture hydrocarbon consumption accurately. 
• Required to take daily Dips and accurately record readings
• Required to climb onto the hydrocarbon tanks and TMM vehicles, therefore should not have a fear of heights.
• Receiving hydrocarbon deliveries.
• Undertake any reasonable instruction given by a supervisor/manager.
• Ensure all work performance is in accordance with the expected KPI standards
• Required to assist in the stores from time to time.
• Required to assist with stock takes.
• Required to work Shifts and flexible hours
• Must be able to work underground.
• Adhere to company standards, policies, and procedures
• Maintain good housekeeping standards to ensure the environment is conducive to safe working conditions
• Report any abnormalities such as theft, damage, or unsafe working conditions.
• Adhere to all departmental policies and procedures
• Adhere to MHSA standards & Gold1 Group’s safety motto: “Nothing is so important that it cannot be done safely”
