 ACCOUNT TECHNICAL SUPPORT AGENTWe are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Account Technical Support Agent to join our dynamic team. If you are passionate about customer service, problem-solving, and technical/account support, this opportunity is for you!Key ResponsibilitiesAs an Account Technical Support Agent, you will:Deliver excellent customer service using strong communication and listening skillsProvide professional telephonic and email support to customersAccurately capture and log service calls with high attention to detailProvide product guidance using IFU (Information for Use) documentationUpdate and maintain accurate business and account informationSupport customers with accounting queries, including HMRC regulations and complianceResolve complex accounting issues such as VAT and other legislative queriesReconcile customer, supplier, and bank transactionsCorrect account posting errors to ensure accurate balancesHandle inbound queries and provide effective resolutionsLiaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve queriesEscalate issues or complaints when necessary for timely resolution
Requirements
  • 1-2 years technical support experience within accounting role or similar.
  • Knowledge of Sage 50, Sage 100 etc will be a great advantage
  • Excellent communication, listening, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong telephone etiquette and ability to handle high-pressure situations.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting practices and compliance is an advantage.
  • High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in data management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using customer support systems and accounting software is a plus.
