Workshop Manager

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to oversee and coordinate the daily operations of our workshop. Your primary focus will be on managing workflow, ensuring quality standards, and leading a team of skilled technicians. This role is essential in guaranteeing that projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day workshop operations, ensuring the efficient delivery of services.
- Supervise, mentor, and lead a team of technicians, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Oversee project planning and scheduling, ensuring timely completion while maintaining quality standards.
- Monitor inventory and supply levels, coordinating procurement as necessary to meet project needs.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and quality assurance measures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Work closely with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide regular updates on progress.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide training opportunities to develop team members’ skills.
- Analyze workflow and implement improvement strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Requirements
- Proven experience in workshop management or a similar role within the industry.
- Strong understanding of workshop operations, processes, and safety standards.
- Demonstrable experience in team leadership, with a focus on developing and motivating staff.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interactions.
- Proficient in project management software and workshop management tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions quickly and efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications
- Technical certification or diploma in relevant fields such as engineering or project management.
- Experience in budgeting and resource allocation within a workshop environment.
- Familiarity with industry-specific software or tools relevant to workshop operations.
