Role Overview

We are looking for a driven and creative Entry Level Marketing Coordinator to join the Nymbis team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to launch their marketing career within a fast-growing cloud technology company. The successful candidate will support the marketing function across digital channels, content creation, internal communications, and brand management. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure Nymbis's voice, brand, and messaging are consistently represented across all platforms and touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management

  • Plan engaging content across Nymbis' social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
  • Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and engage with the online community.
  • Track and report on social media performance metrics, identifying trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Stay up to date with social media trends and platform algorithm changes to maximise reach and engagement.

Content Creation & Design

  • Design visually appealing digital and print marketing assets using tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
  • Create graphics, banners, email headers, social media templates, and promotional materials aligned with the Nymbis brand identity.
  • Assist in the creation of blog posts, case studies, newsletters, and website copy.
  • Collaborate with the team to produce video content, presentations, and digital campaigns.

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)

  • Assist in implementing on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve website visibility and organic search rankings.
  • Conduct keyword research to inform content strategy and web copy.
  • Monitor SEO performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console.

Internal Marketing & Communications

  • Assist in developing and maintaining internal marketing processes, templates, and documentation.
  • Coordinate marketing calendars, campaign timelines, and project schedules.
  • Liaise with internal departments to gather content, approvals, and feedback for marketing materials.
  • Maintain an organised library of brand assets, marketing collateral, and media files.
  • Support the onboarding of new tools, platforms, or workflows within the marketing function.

Email Marketing & Campaigns

  • Assist in building and deploying email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and promotional communications.
  • Manage and maintain email subscriber lists and segmentation.
  • Monitor open rates, click-through rates, and other campaign KPIs, providing regular reports.

General Marketing Support

  • Support the planning and execution of webinars, events, and promotional activations.
  • Conduct competitor and market research to inform marketing strategies.
  • Assist in managing relationships with external vendors, agencies, or freelancers.
  • Contribute ideas and insights in team meetings and brainstorming sessions.
  • Perform general administrative marketing tasks as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field (or currently completing one) is advantageous.
  • 2+ years of experience in a marketing, communications, or related role (internships and freelance work will be considered).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills — you can articulate ideas clearly, professionally, and compellingly.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to proofread and edit copy to a high standard.
  • Demonstrated interest or experience in social media management across multiple platforms.
  • Basic to intermediate graphic design skills using tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign.
  • Foundational knowledge of SEO best practices and digital marketing principles.
  • Comfortable working with tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, Mailchimp, or similar platforms.
  • Highly organised with strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A proactive, self-motivated attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and engage professionally with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Comfortable working with AI tools 

Advantageous Skills

  • Experience with WordPress or similar CMS platforms.
  • Understanding of paid digital advertising (Google Ads, Meta Ads).
  • Basic video editing skills.
  • Interest or background in the technology or cloud computing industry.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Trello, Asana, or Notion.
