- Identify and eliminate operational waste and inefficiencies
- Develop, standardise, and maintain SOPs and process controls
- Apply structured improvement methodologies (Lean, root cause analysis, etc.)
- Analyse and optimise end-to-end test centre processes (customer flow, inspections, reporting, quality checks)
- Act as a subject matter expert on test centre operations
- Ensure alignment with compliance standards and audit requirements
- Strengthen controls and governance in partnership with Compliance
- Identify and close control gaps to ensure process integrity and audit readiness
- Support audit preparation and continuous compliance improvement
- Define and track KPIs to measure improvement impact
- Analyse operational data to identify trends and inefficiencies
- Develop dashboards and management reports
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions
- Drive adoption of new processes and ways of working
- Build a culture of continuous improvement and accountability
- Lead improvement projects end-to-end (from design to implementation and sustainability)
- Prioritise initiatives based on business impact and risk

Introduction
We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Business Optimisation Specialist to join our team. This senior role is critical in driving operational excellence, strengthening compliance, and enhancing service delivery across our test centre network.
The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying and implementing process improvements, while also driving innovation through the introduction of new services and revenue opportunities within the test centre environment.
Role Purpose
The Business Optimisation Specialist is responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing operational improvements to enhance efficiency, compliance, customer experience, and cost effectiveness.
The role further includes proactively identifying and evaluating new business opportunities and service offerings that can be integrated into test centres to optimise asset utilisation and increase revenue.

Candidate Requirements
- 5–8+ years’ senior experience in operations or process improvement within a regulated environment
- Strong understanding of test centre operations and processes
- Proven track record of delivering measurable operational improvements
- Experience in identifying and implementing new value-adding initiatives advantageous
- Valid driver’s licence
- Diploma/Degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Management, Quality Management, or similar will be advantageous
- ISO / Quality / Audit exposure advantageous
- Advanced process mapping and SOP development
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Strong governance and compliance mindset
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Commercial awareness and innovation mindset
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Reduction in errors, rework, and non-conformances
