Joinery company seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, efficiencies, and customer requirements are consistently achieved.

The successful candidate will manage production planning, staff supervision, operational performance, health & safety compliance, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily production activities across multiple departments to ensure production targets and delivery deadlines are achieved.
• Monitor production efficiencies, productivity, quality, and waste reduction, maintaining adherence to established manufacturing procedures and standards.
• Manage stock takes and coordinate production schedules and material requirements with the Planning Department.
• Supervise production teams, ensuring productivity throughout.
• Ensure efficient utilisation of labour, materials, and production resources.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety standards, and PPE requirements.
• Drive housekeeping, operational discipline, and LEAN manufacturing principles.
• Support HR with disciplinary matters, absenteeism, and employee-related issues.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
