Durban CBD - based shipping company is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team. Position is based at the Point Waterfront Area
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaising with team members and coordinating shipping documentation.
- Preparing and collating documents for submission to government organisations
- Submitting and collecting documents from various stakeholders
- Performing general administrative support duties as required (e.g Printing, scanning, filing)
- Going out on the motorbike and taking documents to relevant government organisation and clients.
Salarly: R6 000 - R8 000 pm , depending on experience
Candidate Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid motorbike license with at least 2 years’ riding experience in the Durban CBD and surrounding areas
- Basic knowledge of office administration
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Traceable references (administrative experience and work ethic)
Preferred Advantages:
- Experience in clearing and forwarding
- Background in messenger or courier services
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Tertiary qualification in maritime studies or a related field
Personal Attributes:
- Self-driven and proactive
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Willingness to grow within the company
