Dr Holm Pathologists would like to employ an experienced and dynamic individual to function as a LABORATORY ADMINISTRATOR
Responsibilities include:
- Logging of cases
- Recording Histology specimen descriptions
- Histology and Cytology recordkeeping
- Typing of medical reports from dictaphone recordings as well as typing
- Managing and responding to client queries and requests
- Assisting treating doctors with queries
- Reception duties, including answering calls
- Adding billing codes

Required Skills
- Accurate Administration: 3 to 4 years
- Medical Terminology: 3 to 4 years
- Multitasker: 3 to 4 years
Candidate Requirements
- A very good understanding of medical terminology with basic knowledge of anatomy and or physiology
- Previous experience in histology or medical typing will be an advantage.
- Able to work under pressure
- Attention to detail and accuracy very important
