We are looking for an experienced, driven Bulk Recruitment Consultant to join our team in Mitchells Plain, Cape Town.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively source and attract candidates through multiple channels
- Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines aligned to employer demand forecasts, skills requirements, and geographic and cohort-based needs
- Represent Shadow Global's values, brand, and purpose consistently in all candidate interactions
- Screen and shortlist candidates against role-specific criteria and readiness benchmarks
- Coordinate and conduct telephonic, virtual, and in-person interviews ensuring fair, unbiased, and structured selection processes
- Support employer partner interviews and selection days where required
- Coordinate and manage all recruitment-related checks
- Ensure all candidate documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with funder requirements, POPIA, and Shadow Global governance and audit standards
- Maintain accurate recruitment trackers, databases, and reporting tools
- Support pre-onboarding and onboarding processes in collaboration with Training & Operations, employer partners, Compliance, and Finance teams
- Ensure candidates are fully prepared for Shadow Global's training programme, employer expectations, and professional standards
- Uphold a positive, values-driven candidate experience throughout the journey
- Continuously review and improve recruitment processes, tools, and templates
- Stay informed of labour market trends, youth employment dynamics, and best practices in inclusive recruitment
- Actively participate in team reflections, planning sessions, and capability-building initiatives
Required Skills
- Recruitment Consultant: 2 to 3 years
- Bulk Recruitment: 2 to 3 years
- Call Centre Customer Service Advisor: 1 to 2 years
Candidate Requirements
Candidate Requirements:
- 3–4 years' experience in BPO recruitment and talent acquisition
- 2 years' contact centre bulk/high-volume recruitment experience (Required)
- Experience working with unemployed youth or in impact-driven environments is a strong advantage
- Strong understanding of end-to-end recruitment processes
- Proficient in recruitment systems, trackers, and digital tools
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to data integrity
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, demand-led environment with multiple stakeholders
- High levels of professionalism, integrity, and accountability
- Aligned to Shadow Global's mission, values, and impact-led approach
