- Sell products by establishing and maintaining customer contact
- Build and develop strong customer relationships through ongoing support, information, and guidance
- Recommend suitable product and service solutions based on customer needs
- Conduct customer visits and prepare quotations
- Follow up on quotations to secure sales
- Prepare sales reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising data
- Maintain high-quality service by following company standards and procedures
- Process customer invoicing and place stock orders to fulfil back orders
- Follow up on all customer back orders to ensure timely delivery
- Conduct customer planning and schedule visits using internal systems (Reply)
- Perform cold calling to grow and expand the customer base
- Arrange and conduct product demonstrations (including welding machines)
- Assist with deliveries when required and instructed by management
- Complete all sales-related administration accurately and on time
- Support ad-hoc duties as required by management
- Comply with all Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) policies and procedures
- Achieve monthly sales targets and gross profit objectives for both sales and rentals
- Perform any additional duties as reasonably assigned by management
The Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales growth by developing new business opportunities, maintaining strong customer relationships, and providing technical sales support. The role includes product promotion, customer visits, quotations, follow-ups, and achieving monthly sales and gross profit targets.

- Code 8 driver’s licence (own Transport)
- Working with customers and maintaining customer relations
- Sales experience
- Experience in the welding industry
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt to environment
- Ability to plan a route for the week and visit customers accordingly
- Time management
EDUCATION, TRAINING, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Minimum Qualification: Matric
Tertiary Qualification: Will be advantageous
Experience: Minimum 5 years
