Our client, is seeking an experienced Production Technician.

Responsible for quick, correct line set-ups and changeovers
Perform tool changes and set-ups on all manufacturing equipment-ensure procedures are also performed correctly and effectively by all extrusion staff
Responsible for the optimum utilization of the machines and manufacturing processes to ensure the best possible Performance, Availability and Scrap percentages (OEE)
Responsible for optimum setup of feeders, drillers, coilers and training of supervisors on fine adjustments
Order and parameter specifications inputs on MES in the factory
Assist with planning and scheduling of production orders
Assist with breakdowns and technical repairs of lines and ensure that equipment is in good working order
Assist with maintenance and Lean projects and installations
Responsible for line wear parts replacement stock keeping and replenishment (e.g. rollers, tools, rings, etc.)

Additional requirements

Standby-after hours for all production/technical problems
Provide after-hour support for the factory when required

Education- minimum required skills/qualification

N4 Electrical/Electronic artisan/Millwright
Red Seal Certificate

Experience/fields of knowledge/preferred skills

+-5 Years management of production processes
Fast moving production environment experience
