A company is seeking a hands-on Electronic Technician to provide technical support, equipment maintenance, installations, and repairs within the security and communications industry. The role involves assisting customers telephonically, supporting field installations, troubleshooting electronic systems, and maintaining communication infrastructure while ensuring excellent customer service and technical support standards.

Requirements:

Strong understanding of electronics and fault finding
Experience with alarm systems and control panels
Knowledge of security communication systems and control room operations
Basic networking and MS Office skills
Good communication skills in English and/or Afrikaans
Good administrative and reporting skills
Willingness to do fieldwork, travel, and standby duties
Security industry experience advantageous
RF, GSM, and advanced networking knowledge beneficial
