Junior Mechanical Design engineer required at Design company in SA. Company specializes in the design of Military Vehicles for the overseas market. Design in SA and manufactured abroad. Mechanical Engineer required with a BEng in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering and 0 – 5 years’ experience required.

Qualification and experience required:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
0 – 5 years’ experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Must be able to work on Microsoft Teams
Must be able and willing to travel overseas
Experience in Siemens Solid Edge or Solidworks will be an advantage
Experience in FEMAP and Matlab or Python will be an advantage
Experience in military vehicle design will be an advantage

Responsibilities:

CAD / CAE-based design of mechanical systems/structures.
Creation of manufacturing drawings
Engineering analysis and calculation
Compilation of engineering documents and reports
Internal & External Technical Support
Expansion and maintenance of company knowledge
Procurement, Sourcing, and Expediting Support

You will interpret results and compile reports for feedback
