ROLE PURPOSE
Job entails a Test Technician with experience testing electronic equipment and power

MAIN OUTPUTS
- Perform functional tests on a variety of electronic products and components of equipment coming from sites, including air conditioners.
- Maintain accurate, detailed records of test results, maintenance activities, and repair reports.
- Ensure all equipment meets defined specifications and quality and standards.
- Collaborate on process improvement initiatives related to testing and quality.
- Debug circuit board failures to identify root causes.
- Troubleshoot discrepancies in testing activities and results.
- Work alongside third-party inspectors to validate compliance.
- Perform surface and through-hole soldering on circuit boards.
- Diagnose electrical faults, repair, or replace broken components (soldering, wiring, etc.).
- Manually set up test benches, industrial systems, and mock-ups for product testing.
- Inspect and calibrate electrical instruments to maintain accuracy.
- Continuously Improvement of testing bench facility for improved quality results
- Maintain Quality standards, as per testing scope and requirements
- Maintain the HSE standards as per MAST POC contractual requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
The Applicant must meet the following requirements:
- A minimum of N6 in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent technical diploma.
- Red Seal or Wireman’s license
- Grade 12
- Valid Driver’s License
- Proven experience (often 3+ years) as a test technician, bench technician, or similar role in a manufacturing or repair environment.
TECHNICAL/CORE TRAINING
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints. troubleshooting small electrical components. Familiarity with diagnostic software to test functionality.
- Proficiency in soldering (surface mount and through-hole). Knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems. Ability to debug and diagnose complex failures. Adherence to LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) and electrical safety standards.
