Role Purpose

The Senior Technician / Supervisor is responsible for supervising technicians and installation teams within a power plant or industrial C&I environment. The role focuses on ensuring the correct execution of installation activities, maintaining workmanship quality, supporting commissioning processes, and ensuring compliance with safety and technical standards.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Supervision and Installation
Supervise technicians, artisans, and assistants on site
Allocate daily tasks and coordinate installation activities
Ensure cable routing, glanding, and terminations are completed according to approved drawings
Conduct inspections on instrumentation installations and workmanship quality

Testing and Commissioning Support
Verify loop checks, continuity tests, and inspection results
Assist with calibration, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities
Identify and resolve technical installation issues effectively

Site Coordination and Compliance
Coordinate daily work execution with the Site Manager
Ensure tools, test equipment, and materials are correctly used and maintained
Monitor compliance with safety standards, housekeeping, and quality procedures
Record completed work and provide regular progress updates
