Wanama is looking for a Support Specialist to join our support desk team. This role focuses on delivering accurate, timely support to clients and vendors, managing system data, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve client and vendor queries within set timeframes
• Capture and maintain pricing contracts and master data accurately
• Manage purchase and stock item creation in the system
• Ensure correct unit of measure (UOM), pricing, and item relationships
• Maintain accurate catalogue data and prevent duplicates
• Provide professional and timely communication to clients
• Deliver support across inventory and contract management systems

Minimum Requirements

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Computer literate
• Reliable internet connection (minimum 20–30 Mbps)
• Willingness to work independently and remotely
• Ability to travel for meetings when required

Experience & Skills Required

• Experience in end-user support / helpdesk environment
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills (including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables)
• Understanding of inventory processes (stock counting, transfers, etc.)
• Knowledge of procurement and purchasing data
• Familiarity with master data and catalogue management
• Understanding of Unit of Measure (UOM) concepts
• Experience in food & beverage or hospitality industry (advantageous)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
