As our organisation continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced and highly analytical Business Process Analyst to join our team based in Claremont (Southern Suburbs of Cape Town).
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving operational challenges, improving workflows, implementing automation, and identifying smarter ways of working across multiple business units. You will work closely with senior leadership and operational teams to redesign processes, improve efficiencies, reduce manual workloads, and support digital transformation initiatives across the group.
You will play a key role in bridging operations, technology, reporting, and AI-driven process improvement.
Role Overview
The Business Process Analyst will be responsible for analysing operational processes across the business, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing practical automation and AI-driven solutions to improve workflow efficiency, reporting, operational visibility, and service delivery.
The role requires a strong understanding of operational environments, systems thinking, workflow optimisation, process mapping, automation tools, and change management.
This is a highly collaborative role working closely with operational managers, executives, finance, HR, healthcare teams, infrastructure teams, utilities, and technology stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyse operational workflows across multiple business units to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, risks, and opportunities for improvement
- Design, implement, and optimise operational processes, workflow systems, and automation solutions to improve efficiency, accountability, scalability, and operational visibility
- Implement AI-driven and digital solutions to enhance reporting, communication workflows, scheduling, documentation, and operational support functions
- Develop process maps, SOPs, workflow documentation, dashboards, KPI tracking tools, and operational reporting frameworks
- Identify opportunities for systems integration between platforms, databases, reporting tools, and operational software
- Review operational data and reporting trends to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives
- Work closely with operational managers and department heads to understand business challenges and implement practical process improvement solutions
- Support the implementation and adoption of new systems, workflows, automation tools, and operational processes across the business
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Healthcare, HR, Finance, Utilities, Infrastructure, Marketing,Operations and so many more
- Continuously assess emerging technologies, AI tools, and automation opportunities that may improve operational performance and business continuity
Requirements
Qualifications:
- BSc / BEng Industrial Engineering
- BCom Information Systems
- Bachelor of Business Information Systems (BIS)
- BSc Computer Science
- BSc / BEng Software Engineering
- BCom Operations Management
- or a related qualification in Process Improvement, Business Systems, Automation, or Operational Technology
Advantageous Certifications:
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
- Automation or workflow platform certifications
- AI workflow or digital transformation certifications
Experience and Knowledge:
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Proven experience with process improvement, workflow optimisation, operations analysis, automation, or digital transformation
- Strong understanding of operational workflows and business process improvement methodologies
- Experience implementing automation tools, workflow systems, or AI-driven operational solutions
- Experience with process mapping, SOP development, and workflow documentation
- Experience working with dashboards, KPI reporting, and operational data analysis
- Strong understanding of systems integration and operational platforms
- Experience implementing workflow automation and systems integration using platforms such as:
- Microsoft Power Automate
- Zapier
- Make
- UiPath
- Advanced Excel and reporting capability
- Experience with:
- Google Sheets (advantageous)
- Monday.com
- Asana
- Exposure to AI workflow implementation and operational AI tools
- Experience within healthcare, infrastructure, utilities, property, telecommunications, or other operationally complex environments will be advantageous
- Experience working within multi-site or operationally complex environments

Specific Requirements:
- Clear health record.

Working Hours – Normal working days are Monday to Friday, 08h00 to 17h00, with the opportunity to apply for flexi-time between 06h30 - 18h30
