About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will focus on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality service to our clients, with a commitment to excellence in automotive care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough inspections and diagnostics on vehicles to identify mechanical issues and system failures.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake repairs.
- Repair or replace defective parts, components, and systems, ensuring vehicles meet safety and performance standards.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed, including parts used and time taken.
- Collaborate with service advisors to provide customers with detailed explanations of vehicle issues and recommended repairs.
- Stay updated on new automotive technologies and repair techniques through continuous training and development.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations while working in the service environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service by listening to customer concerns and answering questions related to vehicle services.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role, with a strong understanding of mechanical systems.
- Relevant automotive certifications (e.g., ASE, OEM-specific training) preferred.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in diagnosing issues and performing repairs.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with hybrid and electric vehicle systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of automotive software and systems for diagnostics and repair.
- Familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations in the automotive industry.
- Additional certifications in specialized areas of automotive repair are advantageous.
