Vacancy Details
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draughtsman / Architectural Technologist with experience in Revit, council submissions, and XA knowledge to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in the preparation of technical drawings, municipal submission documentation, and project coordination for a variety of architectural projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate architectural drawings and documentation using Revit
- Produce council submission drawings and documentation
- Assist with XA applications and submission processes
- Develop technical detailing and construction drawings
- Coordinate drawings with consultants and other disciplines
- Ensure drawings comply with municipal regulations and building standards
- Update and maintain drawing records and project documentation
- Attend project and site meetings when required
- Assist with revisions and amendments throughout project stages
- Work collaboratively within the architectural team to meet deadlines
Required Skills
- Revit: 2 to 3 years
Candidate Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Architectural Technology, Draughting, or related field
- Proven experience working with Revit
- Experience with council submissions and approval processes
- Knowledge of XA processes and documentation
- Strong technical drawing and detailing skills
- Good understanding of construction methods and documentation
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and multiple projects simultaneously
