Construction Support Manager Location: CenturionEmployment Type: PermanentIndustry: Construction / Infrastructure / Support ServicesSalary: Market-related salary package based on qualifications and experienceJob PurposeSeeking an experienced and highly organised Construction Support Manager to oversee and coordinate operational support functions across multiple construction projects. The successful candidate will ensure efficient project support, compliance, resource coordination, and administrative control to support project delivery within budget, quality, and timeframes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all construction support operations across active sites
  • Coordinate project administration, documentation, procurement support, and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards
  • Support project managers with planning, scheduling, and operational coordination
  • Monitor project progress, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, clients, and internal departments
  • Manage support staff and ensure high levels of performance and accountability
  • Oversee fleet, equipment, and site resource coordination where required
  • Prepare management reports, project updates, and operational analyses
  • Assist with tender documentation, contracts, and project onboarding processes
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and implement process improvements
  • Ensure all project documentation is accurate, updated, and audit-ready

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Matric
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Project Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 5–8 years’ experience within the construction industry
  • Minimum 3 years’ management experience in a construction support or operations role
  • Strong understanding of construction project processes and site operations
  • Experience working with contractors, suppliers, and project teams
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and construction/project management systems
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to sites if required

Preferred Experience

  • Experience within infrastructure, commercial, or industrial construction environments
  • Knowledge of procurement and contract administration
  • Understanding of OHSA and construction compliance requirements
  • Exposure to budgeting and cost control processes

Remuneration
