An established industrial solutions company is seeking an experienced External Technical Sales Representative to drive business development within the mining sector across French-speaking African countries. The role requires a proactive sales professional with strong technical knowledge and the ability to build strategic customer relationships, identify opportunities, and deliver tailored solutions.

Requirements:

3–5 years’ experience in technical sales within an industrial or engineering environment
Exposure to mining operations across Africa
Strong knowledge of valves and/or actuators
Technical or engineering background advantageous
Strong business development and customer engagement skills
Ability to identify customer needs and present tailored technical solutions
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
Ability to manage the full sales cycle proactively
Strong business and commercial understanding
French-speaking ability advantageous
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required
