The Kamoa Copper Mine is a joint venture between Ivanhoe Mines (39.6%), Zijin Mining Group (39.6%), Crystal River Global Limited (0.8%) and the Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo (20%). It's a very large, near-surface, flat-lying, stratiform copper deposit with adjacent prospective exploration areas within the Central African Copperbelt, at approximately 25 kilometres west of the town of Kolwezi and about 270 kilometres west of the provincial capital of Lubumbashi.

Maintain Power management system to always be fully functional and operational

You will have the following:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Process Control qualification
• Must have at least 5 years’ experience in n C- and Java-type programming languages
• Must have at least 5 years’ experience in electrical networks, substations, protection relays, switchgear, power factor correction, control systems, communication networks, PLCs and SCADA systems.
• Must have at least 3years’ experience in Power management system software including Siemens TIA portal, WinCC Professional and WinCC OA.
• Must have at least 3 years extensive experience in MOXA AND Siemens network switches.

Technical Skills should include:

• Fiber network ring design and maintain.
• IT infrastructure design and deployment
• Development of power management software and control log

• Power management system software including Siemens TIA portal, WinCC Professional and WinCC OA
• Extensive experience on Moxa and Siemens network switches.
• Extensive experience on communication protocols including Modbus TCP and Siemens Industrial Ethernet.
• Experience with ComAP software suite
• 5 years’ experience in C- and Java-type programming languages.
