Job Title: Warehouse Picker / General Worker

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Picker / General Worker to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for picking and packing stock, assisting with general warehouse duties, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, and supporting daily operations to ensure orders are processed accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick stock accurately according to picking slips or scanner instructions
• Pack and prepare orders for dispatch
• Load and unload delivery vehicles
• Receive, check, and store incoming stock
• Assist with stock counts and inventory control
• Label and sort products correctly
• Keep warehouse clean, organised, and safe
• Operate pallet jacks or other basic warehouse equipment where required
• Report damaged stock or safety hazards to supervisors
• Assist with general warehouse and housekeeping duties
• Follow company health and safety procedures at all times

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12
• Previous warehouse or picking experience advantageous
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy items
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience using handheld scanners
• Basic understanding of warehouse processes
• Good communication skills
