OVERVIEW - This opportunity within one of the divisions of a well-known national group produces and markets a specific paper converted packaging product. 

Working remotely, you would need to ensure that where you are residentially located you could comfortably attend office meetings at least twice per month in an area approximately 50kms. from Johannesburg CBD.  

It is a Gauteng / regional opportunity - servicing Gauteng, Limpopo & Mpumalanga. Any "agriculture" affiliation would be a great advantage in your relationship development within the farming community.  As communicated in the job heading, your proficiency in Afrikaans is essential.   You would no doubt be in the earlier years of your sales career, having experienced some proven success, and have the ability to operate very independently.  You would have a strong customer focus and ability to service and grow existing business, as well as open new doors.   

It is not a commission role and the package on offer - R30 000.00 gross per month + company contributes 50% to medical aid & pension, 13th cheque + fully maintained company company 

Key responsibilities are, but not limited to:

·         New business and market development - Grow existing market segments and develop and enter /disrupt new markets and applications

·         Local and international competitor analysis and product benchmarking

·         Tracking and actively building and expanding the regional sales footprint

·         Building, maintaining and managing excellent supplier relations

·         Understanding customer requirements, offering technical support and solution selling

·         Continuous business improvement. (Making sure it’s a pleasure to do business with the company)

·         Resolution

·         Monitoring of our paper trays and products in trade to ensure fit-for-purpose performance

·         Visit feedback reporting etc.
