Description:
Hire Resolve's Client is currently looking for an experienced Procurement Officer (6-Month FTC) to join their mining company based in Gauteng. You will be responsible for coordinating procurement activities, supplier management and purchasing processes to support efficient and compliant operations.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate procurement activities to support operational and project requirements.
• Source suppliers, products and quotations in line with procurement policies and business needs.
• Maintain procurement systems, vendor information and purchasing records.
• Liaise with internal departments, suppliers and finance teams regarding procurement and payment matters.
• Process procurement transactions and ensure accurate reporting and documentation.
• Monitor supplier performance, analyse procurement data and report variances where required.
• Supervise and support team members where applicable.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• 3-5 years' experience as a Procurement Officer within the mining industry
• National Diploma in Supply Chain or Equivalent (Advantageous)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP
  
• Valid Driver's License
