Job Title: Accountant

Location: Hyundai Richards Bay

We are seeking a meticulous and organized Accountant to join our team at our Hyundai Richards Bay dealership. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial management within the automotive industry and possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices specific to dealership operations.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage the financial transactions and records of the dealership, including income, expenses, and inventory
- Prepare financial reports and statements for management review
- Perform regular audits and reconciliation of financial accounts
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial goals are met and budgets are adhered to
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency
- Stay informed of industry trends and changes in regulations that may affect financial operations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA certification preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive accounting
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
