The Solutions Architect: Arize is responsible for proactively driving new corporate business development while maintaining and growing relationships with existing clients. This role focuses on selling Arize’s solutions into the corporate market, staying ahead of industry trends, and continuously innovating to ensure offerings remain relevant and competitive.
The Solutions Architect serves as a premium brand ambassador at all times and plays a key role in identifying opportunities, delivering tailored solutions, and contributing to overall business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Drive sales of Arize products within the corporate market.
Develop new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
Stay up to date with BBBEE legislation and relevant industry charters.
Deliver high-quality presentations to both individuals and large audiences.
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, with regular reporting (daily, weekly, monthly).
Keep CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) consistently updated.
Attend internal meetings and provide pipeline updates and feedback.
Develop and maintain a strong referral/channel network (e.g., BEE consultants, accountants).
Conduct a minimum of 40 new sales calls per week and meet defined meeting targets.
Travel locally and nationally to pursue business opportunities.
Maintain client relationships, including at least one engagement per client per quarter.
Prepare and deliver proposals to prospective clients.
Adhere to pricing guidelines and obtain approval for any deviations.
Participate in exhibitions, events, and promotional activities (including after hours when required).
Achieve a minimum client retention rate of 75% year-on-year.
Collaborate with colleagues and support other Solutions Architects when required.
Engage with potential clients through ongoing value-adding communication.
Participate in observation sessions (sales pitches) and complete required preparation and training.
Complete all required training programs and assessments within specified timeframes.
Adhere to all company policies, including ethical conduct, anti-bribery, and disclosure of business interests.

Candidate Requirements
Key RequirementsQualifications & Experience
Degree or diploma in Sales, Marketing, or Commerce (preferred).
8–10 years’ experience in external sales.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in solution-based sales.
Strong experience in group facilitation and boardroom presentations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Experience using a CRM system.
Proven ability to learn and apply large volumes of information quickly.
Valid credit or debit card for business-related expenses (reimbursable).
