Our client is seeking an experienced Forklift Driver to join their team based in Somerset West, Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years’ forklift driving experience, a Matric qualification, and a valid forklift license. The role requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, with prior experience in a manufacturing and production environment being essential.

REQUIREMENTS:

3–5 years’ experience as a forklift driver.
Matric qualification.
Forklift license required.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience working in a production environment.

DUTIES:

Operate a forklift safely and in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
Load and offload goods from trucks, containers, and storage areas.
Transport raw materials and finished goods within the warehouse or production facility.
Assist with receiving, checking, and storing incoming stock.
Pick and prepare orders for dispatch accurately and on time.
Conduct daily equipment checks and report any faults or maintenance requirements.
Ensure proper stacking and storage of goods to prevent damage or loss.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Adhere to health and safety standards at all times.
Assist with general warehouse duties when required.
