CONVEYANCER Located: GeorgeA leading legal firm is seeking a highly experienced Senior Conveyancer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings a strong, structured, process-driven approach to property transfer and registration mattersKey Responsibilities:Manage the full end-to-end conveyancing process, including property transfers, bond registrations, cancellations, and related transactionsEnsure all documentation is accurately prepared, verified, and lodged within required timeframesLiaise with banks, estate agents, municipalities, deeds offices, and clients throughout the transfer processOversee and drive multiple simultaneous transactions in a high-volume, deadline-driven environmentEnsure strict compliance with legal, regulatory, and financial requirementsIdentify and resolve transactional issues efficiently to avoid delaysMaintain clear communication with all stakeholders to ensure smooth progression of filesImplement and follow structured processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and turnaround timesProvide guidance and oversight where required to junior staff or support teams

Minimum requirements:

• LLB degree (Bachelor of Laws)
• Admission as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa
• Registration as a Conveyancer with the Legal Practice Council (LPC)
• Senior-level experience as a Conveyancer with a strong track record in property transfers
• Proven ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Strong process-driven mindset with excellent attention to detail
• In-depth knowledge of conveyancing procedures, Deeds Office processes, and property law
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality and compliance
