If you’re a hands-on Toolroom professional with strong leadership skills and deep experience in thermoforming tooling, this is your opportunity to take full control of tooling performance in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

A leading FMCG manufacturing operation based in Johannesburg is looking for an experienced Toolroom Manager to oversee tooling maintenance, drive efficiency, and support production excellence.

Candidate Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

Trade qualification (Toolmaker / Fitter & Turner / Die & Mould Maker)
8–10 years’ toolroom experience in manufacturing
Minimum 5 years in a toolroom management role
Strong experience with thermoforming tooling (FMCG packaging preferred)
Experience with CNC machining, lathe, and manual machining
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and tolerances
