Our client is seeking a Auditor/Junior Data Analyst .The primary purpose of this role is to perform Audit Data Analytics (ADA) following a pre-defined approach to support the external audit team. You will be responsible for executing procedures, documenting evidence in accordance with the Firm’s methodology and International Standards on Auditing (ISA) and maintaining professional relationships with audit teams and clients.

Requirements:

·        An Accounting or Auditing qualification.

·        Experience in conducting ADA/CAATs.

·        SAIPA / SAICA / ACCA articles experience is considered advantageous.

·        Currently studying towards a CISA certification is advantageous.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (specifically pivot tables, v-lookups, and conditional functions).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Experience with CaseWare IDEA and/or ACL.
• The ability to extract data using ODBC or similar methods.
• Basic SQL query skills and an understanding of Power Query.
• A good understanding of IS Audit and Assurance Standards.
• Knowledge of the principles behind the design and use of CAATS during an audit and the related required reporting.
