Kern doel van die pos:

Effektiewe hantering van alle administratiewe take met betrekking tot die Oesversekerings-afdeling.

Vereistes:

  • Graad 12;
  • FAIS Akkreditasie (NQF5 en RE5) voltooi;
  • Minstens 2 - 3 jaar ondervinding in ʼn oesversekering versekerings omgewing;
  • Ondervinding met die werking van administratiewe versekeringstelsels sal voordelig wees;
  • Ondervinding in die bou van verhoudinge met belanghebbendes;
  • Geldige rybewys;

Vaardighede:

  • Goeie kommunikasie- en taalvaardighede in Afrikaans en Engels;
  • Rekenaarvaardig (MS Office);
  • Sterk syfervaardighede/Rekeningkundige agtergrond;
  • Sterk analitiese vaardighede;
  • Goeie tydsbestuursvaardighede;
  • Logiese benadering tot probleem oplossing;
  • Goeie interpersoonlike vaardighede;

Verantwoordelikhede:

  • Monitor en beheer die administratiewe funksie;
  • Maandelikse verslagdoening insluitend oesverslae en direksiestukke;
  • Kontrolering van versekeringsbeleid en prosedures;
  • Monitor en beheer kwotasie prosesse en eise funksie;
  • Toesighouding en probleemhantering van adminfunksie;
  • Beheer van premie betalings en tydige hantering- en allokasie van eis gelde;
  • Kontak met Versekeraars insluitend onderskrywings navrae en afhandeling van eise;
  • Adhoc take.

Main purpose of the position:

Effective handling of all administration with regards to the Crop Insurance Department.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12;
  • FAIS Accreditation (NQF5 & RE5) completed;
  • At least 2 - 3 years’ experience in a crop insurance environment;
  • Experiene relating to short term insurance specific software will be an advantage;
  • Experience in building relationships with stakeholders;
  • Valid drivers license.

Skills:

  • Sound communication and language skills in Afrikaans and English;
  • Computer literate (MS Office);
  • Strong numerical skills/Accounting background or exposure;
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Strong time management skills;
  • Logical approach to problem solving;
  • Good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and control the administrative function;
  • Monthly reporting including crop summary reports and directors’ reports;
  • Checking and ensuring compliance regarding insurance policies and procedures;
  • Monitor and control quotation processes and claims function;
  • Responsible for premium payments and timeous management and allocation of claims monies;
  • Liaison with Insurers, including underwriting queries and claims settlement;
  • Supervise and problem solving of admin function
  • Adhoc tasks.
