You will work closely with the operations and finance teams to understand, track, and analyse the costs involved in exporting fruit.
Over time, you will build a strong understanding of cost structures and contribute to improving how to calculate, manage, and report on costs.
This is a great opportunity to transition into cost accounting while using your operational experience to add business value.
Duties:
- Capture and validate cost data across the export supply chain
- Analyse cost movements and identify discrepancies or trends
- Assist in building and improving costing models and tools
- Work with operational teams (logistics, procurement, stock) to understand cost drivers
- Support the automation and improvement of costing processes
- Contribute to reporting that helps the business make better decisions
- Logistics Coordinators
- Supply Chain or Stock Controllers
- Export or Operations Administrators
- Junior Analysts with strong Excel skills
- Relevant degree or diploma (Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics) is beneficial
- 1 – 3 Years’ experience in operations, logistics, supply chain, or finance
- Exposure to costing, reporting, or data analysis is beneficial but not required
- Experience in fruit exports or agriculture is an advantage
- Exposure to Power BI or reporting tools
- Experience working with large datasets
- Interest in automation or process improvement
