Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager
Location: Sandton, Gauteng
Job Summary:
The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations and regulatory standards. This role involves overseeing the testing of products, conducting quality audits, and implementing corrective actions as needed. The Quality Assurance Manager will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations and customer specifications.
2. Lead and manage a team of quality assurance professionals, including setting goals, providing coaching and mentoring, and conducting performance evaluations.
3. Establish and maintain quality control processes for incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products.
4. Conduct regular quality audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with quality standards.
5. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
6. Participate in the development and review of product specifications and designs to ensure quality requirements are met.
7. Monitor and analyze quality metrics to track performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
8. Develop and implement training programs to ensure all employees understand and adhere to quality standards and procedures.
9. Manage supplier relationships and conduct supplier audits to ensure quality requirements are met.
10. Stay current on industry trends and best practices related to quality assurance and implement process improvements as needed.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality assurance, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance, with 2 years in a leadership role.
3. Strong knowledge of quality management systems and quality assurance principles.
4. Experience implementing quality improvement initiatives and driving a culture of quality within an organization.
5. Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
6. Certified Quality Engineer or Quality Manager certification preferred.
7. Experience working in Facilities Management industry preferred.
