A South African geospatial technology and mapping platform that helps organisations use location-based data to make informed decisions is seeking a Ruby on Rails Developer. Please note that this role has a remote working model.

Skills Required

·        Minimum of 7+ years’ experience in web development, with a strong focus on Ruby on Rails

·        Proven experience working with ReactJS for front-end development

·        Solid understanding of modern web technologies, including JavaScript and Bootstrap

·        Familiarity with development and collaboration tools such as Git, Jira, and Confluence

·        Experience working within Scrum/Agile environments

·        Exposure to Selenium or other automated testing tools is advantageous

·        Understanding of financial processes will be considered a strong advantage

·        Demonstrated experience in Test-Driven Development (TDD)
