We are seeking an experienced and professional Pharmacist Locum to support the safe, effective, and compliant operation of our client - a retail pharmacy.

The successful candidate shall perform all duties within the legal scope of a practising pharmacist, ensuring ethical dispensing, patient care, and adherence to Good Pharmacy Practice.

Key responsibilities shall include, but not to be treated as an exhaustive list:

• Dispense prescription and non‑prescription medication in compliance with legal and professional standards.
• Interpret, evaluate, and validate prescriptions issued by registered medical practitioners.
• Provide professional advice to patients and make appropriate referrals where required.
• Supervise pharmacy interns and assistants, including checking and signing off prescriptions prior to dispensing.
• Manage dispensary operations collaboratively with other pharmacists on duty.
• Ensure correct handling of Schedule 6 substances.
• Participate in dispensary stock management and pharmacy stock takes.
• Maintain compliance with SOPs, safety policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure continuity of safe pharmacy operations during periods of absence of the Responsible Pharmacist.
