Well know Agriculture Compnay based in Pretoria Seeks Jnr Accountant to join there Dynamic Team
• Record keeping of accounting transactions
• Monthly analysis and reporting
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Calculation and submission of VAT, Income Tax, Securities Transfer Tax and Dividends Withholding Tax
• Monthly EMP201 submission and SARS correspondence
• Monthly provisions, salary and general journals
• Approve daily payments on bank
• Reconcile inter-group loan accounts
• Weekly group cash position
• Compile related parties schedule on monthly basis
• Internal & external audit process assistance
• Compilation of working papers and financial statements
• Annual XBRL reports
• Bi-annual IRP5 submission
• General accounting and bank administration
• Support management with ad hoc tasks; and to perform tasks accurately as set out by management.
Candidate Requirements
- BCom Accounting qualification / BSc Accounting
- Completed Articles will be an advantage
- Minimum 3 - 4 year experience in an accounting environment with relevant experience
- Minimum 2 year experience in a payroll-environment is a requirement
- Minimum 2 year experience in compiling of financial statements
- Minimum 2 year experience in calculating and submission of VAT and Income Tax
- Minimum 2 year experience in compiling of financial statements
- Accuracy and detail-orientated
- Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English (verbal and written communication)
- Computer literate and knowledge of the MS Office package especially in Excel
- Be able to perform under pressure and keep to deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Being able to adapt to changing environments and work processes
- High degree of taking ownership and responsibility, embody the values, mission and vision of the company.
