The role entails managing the full HR function within a unionised manufacturing environment, ensuring constructive engagement with trade unions and shop stewards. You’ll lead collective bargaining processes and wage negotiations, advise management on labour legislation and disciplinary processes, and oversee recruitment, onboarding, training initiatives, as well as workforce planning for production.

Candidate Requirements

Job Requirements:

§ An HR-related degree and 8+ years management experience

§ Strong Industrial Relations / collective bargaining / unionised workplace experience

§ Knowledge of CCMA and Bargaining Council matters

§ Exposure to technical training, apprenticeships, etc.
