Job Purpose
Attending to the day-to-day operations of their assigned projects. They organize and communicate details related to a specific assignment or task while serving as an interface between stakeholders and the Scheme.
This position will serve to undertake and execute the effective functioning of supply chain processes, including sourcing, ordering, receiving, liaising with suppliers, contract monitoring, reporting on, and ensuring compliance with supply chain policies and regulations, including co-ordinating the procurement of day-to-day goods and services for the Scheme.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist project managers in coordinating resources, tracking timelines, and documenting project requirements and objectives to ensure deliverables stay on schedule.
- Maintain comprehensive project records and draft monthly/quarterly reports, including the preparation of legal paperwork and contracts.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for project updates, ensuring clear communication between internal teams, project sponsors, and external suppliers.
- Support the audit process by tracking action plans, monitoring non-compliance findings, and researching legislative updates to keep policies current.
- Execute day-to-day Supply Chain Management tasks, including drafting the Annual Procurement Plan and collating data for BBBEE and compliance reporting.
- Identify project blockers and risks, escalating issues to senior management while providing administrative support to resolve them.
- Help staff understand and adhere to company policies and SCM procedures through administrative guidance and performance data reporting.
Candidate Requirements
Qualification and Experience
- A National Diploma or Degree in Finance/Risk /Law /Procurement Management/ Supply Chain Management
- 0 – 1 year’ experience in similar role.
- Reliability, honesty, integrity, and trust.
- A person who either already has or will rapidly obtain understanding for the business processes.
- The ability to identify problems and rapidly resolve them.
- Knowledge of Healthcare industry regulatory framework will be an added advantage.
- Communication skills and Problem -solving skills.
- Judgment and decision-making ability
- Stakeholder relationship Management skills
Working conditions
- This position works on a hybrid model at the Office and at sites.
- Travel to designated sites as per the schedule, with additional on-demand travel as required for this role.
