The Truck Driver will be responsible for operating a 7-ton truck equipped with a crane for loading and offloading materials. The ideal candidate must have strong technical knowledge of truck and crane operations, hold a valid Code 10 license with a Professional Driving Permit (PDP), and be willing to support warehouse activities when not driving. This hybrid role requires someone reliable, physically capable, and able to take initiative in managing warehouse staff and daily floor activities.

Key Responsibilities

Truck Operation & Crane Handling

• Operate a 7-ton truck safely and efficiently
• Use the onboard crane to load and offload materials
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report defects
• Adhere to transport, road safety, and weight regulations

Delivery & Logistics Management

• Execute scheduled pickups and deliveries on time
• Secure loads properly and maintain accurate trip records
• Ensure correct documentation accompanies all deliveries
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers

Warehouse Oversight (When Not Driving)

• Supervise warehouse staff and allocate daily tasks
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
• Monitor inventory movement and ensure accurate stock placement
• Assist in receiving, sorting, and storing incoming goods

Inventory & Floor Management

• Conduct routine stock takes and report variances
• Oversee floor operations to ensure workflow efficiency
• Support the manager with daily administrative or operational duties
• Identify and resolve operational challenges proactively
