We are seeking a skilled and motivated Engineering Technologist to join a leading dairy manufacturing operation in the Eastern Cape. This role plays a key part in supporting efficient, safe, and reliable production by ensuring optimal performance of dairy processing and packaging equipment in a high-volume FMCG environment.

The successful candidate will act as a vital technical link between production, maintenance, and engineering teams, driving equipment reliability, process optimisation, and continuous improvement across the plant. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineering professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a strong focus on food safety and operational excellence.

Candidate Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

Matric
Tertiary Qualification in Instrumentation/Mechatronic/Electronic Engineering
5 years’ experience in a Food Manufacturing Environment – Within Dairy/Beverage
Siemens TIA Portal and Step7 certification
Proficient in Profibus DP, Profinet, AS-i, and IO-Link
PLC, Automation Systems, SCADA
