ARCHITECTURAL TECHNOLOGIST / ARCHITECTURAL DRAUGHTSPERSON

Our office in Malmesbury is currently seeking the services of a dynamic and motivated Architectural Draughtsperson / Architectural Technologist.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Proficiency in architectural drawing software such as TurboCAD and/or AutoCAD.
• Experience in 3D drafting, SketchUp, and knowledge of CADDIE 9 will be advantageous.
• Sound knowledge of SANS 10400 codes and building regulations.
• Ability to complete SANS 10400 forms accurately and in full for municipal submissions.
• Experience with electronic submission of building plans to local authorities via Collaborator.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with clients and local authorities.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office.
• Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English.
• SACAP registration as an Architectural Draughtsperson / Architectural Technologist will be advantageous. Following permanent appointment and selection, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain practical work experience towards professional registration.
