The successful candidate will be working on high-level international transactions and complex finance matters. This role offers exposure to cross-border work within a highly professional and deal-driven environment. Key ResponsibilitiesDrafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex finance agreementsStructuring and advising on lending transactionsWorking on:Leveraged financeAsset-based lendingTrade financeGeneral corporate lending transactionsLiaising with banks, financial institutions, and international stakeholdersSupporting cross-border transactions and multi-jurisdictional matters Minimum RequirementsLLB degree (BCom LLB advantageous)Admitted Attorney (South Africa or relevant jurisdiction)Minimum 5 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE)Proven experience within a large / top-tier law firm in Banking & FinanceStrong exposure to:Leveraged financeAsset-based lendingTrade financeDemonstrated experience drafting and structuring finance transactions (not administrative or litigation-focused)Key CompetenciesStrong commercial acumenExcellent drafting and technical skillsHighly professional with strong communication and presentation abilitiesProven track record in transactional Banking & Finance workAbility to engage confidently with international clients and stakeholdersHigh level of professionalism, reliability, and trustworthiness (essential for remote work)
