My client in Tulbagh is looking for a dynamic Human Resources Manager - Wages.

Minimum requirements:

The Wages HR Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing all wage-related HR functions, including payroll accuracy, timekeeping, employee records, compliance, and workforce reporting. The role ensures efficient HR operations for wage staff while maintaining compliance with labour legislation and supporting overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll & Wage Administration

Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for wage employees
Ensure 100% payroll accuracy and timely payments
Manage payroll queries, discrepancies, and corrections
Ensure statutory deductions and submissions are accurate and compliant

Time & Attendance Management

Manage timekeeping systems and ensure accurate capturing of hours worked
Monitor absenteeism, overtime, and shift patterns
Investigate irregularities and implement corrective actions

HR Systems & Data Integrity

Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records on HRIS systems
Ensure data integrity across payroll, HR, and timekeeping platforms
Generate and analyse HR reports for decision-making

Compliance & Governance

Ensure full compliance with labour laws, company policies, and audit requirements
Support internal and external audits with zero non-compliance findings
Keep up to date with legislative changes affecting wages and employment

Performance & Productivity Support

Support performance management processes for wage staff
Ensure timely completion of performance appraisals
Provide insights on workforce productivity and efficiency

Employee Relations

Handle wage-related employee queries and grievances
Support disciplinary processes related to timekeeping, attendance, and payroll issues
Promote a positive employee climate and engagement

Reporting & Management Support

Provide accurate HR, payroll, and timekeeping reports within required timelines
Track key metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, and labour costs
Support management with workforce planning and budgeting
