Grow, Innovate, Succeed! We have an incredible opportunity for a Trade Marketing Assistant at Indigo Brands in Epping, Cape Town. In this role, you will actively support the Trade Marketing Manager with overall project management and project related administration support for the Personal Care and Fragrance portfolio, relating to the development and execution of Indigo Trade marketing plans.               

Reporting Structure:

• Reports to: Trade Marketing Manager

Key Areas of Impact:

• Support the Trade Marketing Manager with the development and execution of Trade Point of Sale plans and New Product Launches in order to deliver desired brand and business results.
• Management of Merchandising Units in 3^rd Party Warehouse and Distribution Centre.
• Responsible for booking all 3^rd Party trade support activity planned by Trade Marketing example, In-store POS placements and Promoter bookings.
• Responsible for delivery of all information required for a New Product Listing like Customer Product Listing Documents and NPD Trade Launch Kits.
• Support Trade Marketing Manager in the preparations for Sales Cycle Brief meetings, Customer Trade shows and Beauty Consultant Training events.
• Responsible for co-ordinating and delivery of all Customer broadsheet and E-commerce artwork as planned by Trade Marketing and Key Accounts Departments.
• Responsible for all Purchase Order numbers (PO’s), with support for overall budget management.
• Work alongside Trade Marketing Manager with POS suppliers on the following:

        Briefings / Quotations / Samples / Production timelines and delivery.

What It Takes to Succeed:
Experience that set you up for success:                       

• Minimum 2-3 years’ working experience in one of the following environments:

Qualifications & Certifications that will contribute to your success:

• Grade 12 / Matric
• A Degree/Diploma in Marketing, Media or equivalent is required.

Additional Requirements that will enhance your impact for success:

• Exposure to Omni / digital marketing would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of SAP / MS Office would be advantageous
• Own transport is required.
