Role Overview
Our company is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer for the Finance Department at Head Office in Germiston. The role covers payroll financial administration, month-end and year-end payroll procedures, legislative compliance, submissions, reconciliations and payroll support.
Key Duties
Perform end-to-end payroll financial administration; stay abreast of taxation laws and SEIFSA agreements; administer payroll system and legislative documents; manage medical aid, pension and provident fund payments; handle month-end and year-end procedures; prepare bonus quotes and invoices; monitor payroll master data integrity; respond to payroll support queries; produce HR movement and variance reports; draft annual compensation reports; complete Sick Pay fund applications; complete quarterly STAT reports; submit monthly remuneration, EMP201 and EMP501 returns; prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and third-party reconciliations.

Candidate Requirements
QualificationsDiploma in Payroll Administration or related qualification (NQF 6) advantageous; BCom Degree with accounting (NQF 7) advantageous; knowledge of labour and tax legislation including BCEA, EEA, Income Tax Act and bargaining council agreements; SAP experience advantageous.
